Welcome to my creative page!
Some know me as Angelina (or Gigi for short) a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse and others know me as Venus LaCure, the colorful and vivacious Chicago Pin-up artist. These two incredibly rewarding worlds have blended together and inspired my creation of Craft Kween Boutique.
Craft Kween Boutique began in 2020 as a creative outlet while attending graduate school for my Master's of Science in Nursing. I bring my love for all things vintage and retro, bold and unique to every piece of art I create. As a well-rounded, strong, compassionate woman, I strive to empower other guys and dolls to live outside the box! I encourage individuals to confidently express themselves through art, fashion, music, etc. I am passionate about creating one of a kind wearable art from upcycled vintage clothing to custom painted shoes, handbags, and even pediatric medical equipment such as Doc Cranial bands. If it has a surface I will paint it!
